A Gun Went Off In Human Resources
02 Jul 2020—13 Dec 2020

‘A Gun Went Off in Human Resources’ presents three acts of misguided reason. This is a new body of work
surrounding shift work malaise and ‘Going Postal’ due to precarious casual employment. This exhibition acts
as an absurdist proposal to an event never actualised. Computer graphic imagery here works to fulfill desires
without the artist being arrested for acting upon such feelings. That which may seem perverse/pathological
can be mediated by diverting the feeling into an artwork. Which is to ask does it nullify the intention? Similarly
is the obfuscated violence within corporate structures nullified?

This exhibition was impacted by COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns.
