ATHENA THEBUS & CHLOE CORKRAN
Drippy Rock
01 Aug 2019—18 Aug 2019

Beginnings are a very delicate time.
The dividing crease of a centrefold splits her face like Janus.
When a script calls for tears, her mother takes her aside and pulls the wings off a butterfly to summon the desired effect.
Int. garden, where innocence has passed no head turns — day

This work was developed on Kuring-gai and Gadigal land and presented on Woiworung land. We acknowledge the First Nation custodians of these lands, as sovereignty was never ceded. We pay respects to their ancestors and elders; past, present and emerging.

Wallpaper, resin, chain, personal lubricant.
