Why do I only date Germans and /or Austrians?

Some objective points about the work are that it’s a sculptural installation consisting of a set of 15 folding, non-functional stools. These stools have been hand bent, welded and assembled in a small batch. It is also, at least for me, a line drawing in mild steel and taught canvas. The curves and angles are pedantic and stem from an interest in proportions, weight distribution – or dry formal concerns.
I am consistently interested in the outlines and structure of furniture as well as industrial equipment. I want to make objects look impossibly light, preferring objects that tilt and balance on supports. In “Why do I only date Germans and /or Austrians?” the work has been developed according to the size of the backspace and consideration of the floor and character of TCB itself.
