PLACES ARE WORDS TOO
01 Jun 2023 —18 Mar 2023
Opening:
Saturday 3rd June, 4 - 6 PM
PLACES ARE WORDS TOO
Is an exhibition of topographical poetry by Cormac Kirby.
@filter_head) is a spatial poet working on Wurundjeri country who is interested in using poetry to map experience.
PLACES ARE WORDS TOO will explore how poetry can not just invoke places, but take their very shape.
Half associative mapping, half satellite tracing - places, people, houses, stations, sand will be seen - as words, and for what they are.
