Meanjin/Brisbane-based artist Emmalyn Hawthorne presents her first solo exhibition Astrolabe at TCB Art Space. Hawthorne is known for her collaborative spirit and her intelligent, sensitive and beguiling approach to contemporary art practice. Astrolabe builds upon the artist’s experience to date working at the intersection of text, technology and place; allowing audiences to ‘read the sky’ with her through a site specific response to the built environment at TCB Art Space.
