Presque vu is a new solo show by Hamish Macdonald that works around scenography, material arrangement and staged photography. Presented are large photographic images of debased sets, obfuscatory enactments and constructed scenes. In these sculpted events, figure and object interlink ambient space and time like a nuanced dramaturge.
