In Darkness Born

In this exhibition, Andrews will present a site-specific arrangement of works made between 1998-2012, collectively pointing towards his ongoing interest in the (seemingly distant yet re-occurring) forms of Non-Objectivity and Constructivism.
Andrews’s practice uses systems which involve elements of randomness. Generative processes and their resultant artworks become indexical registers of studio-based experiments, and more broadly, a temporal realisation of self. His work references present-tense information and varies in levels of permanence without being specific to any particular site or presentational platform.
