"Grit: Exploring Non-Male Strength in Masculine Spaces through Art and Sport"
In "Grit," the convergence of sport and art serves as a platform to spotlight non-male strength within traditionally masculine domains. Drawing from her experience as a former AFLW player, artist Luka Lesosky-Hay delves into the essence of this strength through the portrayal of her two muses and friends, Millie Brown and Nell Morris-Dalton. Through a fusion of paintings and sculptural elements, this exhibition delves into a version of contemporary femininity as seen through the dynamic lens of sport.
