I’ve been using up materials and things left over from years of earlier work, and I’ve made small works for a long time. Most of those in Not All By Me, are like mind blisters which pop and release their load.
When they happen, anything may occur but there is nothing that’s totally unfamiliar to me although it may be odd.
There isn’t anything that doesn’t mean something but it’s not always easy to know what’s going on.
I’ve learnt to let things be. There’s plenty to reflect on and ponder and worry about, and these little works, I think, want reflection.

The exhibition is called, Not All By Me, because people who visited my studio tried the little router I use, so made a mark amongst the other marks. It was casual I don’t remember everyone who came, but I like that that
