4 years later, I went back home, Yundi went back home and many of us did. With that much sentimentality, I got numb the more I stayed with it. In the end, I guess I am too busy to be that immigrant; working hard for this ‘freedom’ as well. So what do I try to say here? On the last day, my mom drove me to the airport, and the last thing she said while crying was, “没关系的，疫情结束了，以后想回来就能回来了” （it's ok now, the pandemic is over, from now on you can come back whenever you want）I hope one day I can, Mom. Home is very much of a context that is too rich, I risked it for what could be just a void of melancholy.
